The Evolution Speed Drive is an enlarged torque driver with two linear guide slots. It requires the Evo variator and the long Evo belt to be used over the full range of transmission ratios. This way the engine can be kept in the ideal RPM range over a much wider spectrum of speed which leads to better acceleration characteristics.
