Once you've upgraded to disc brake setup, or if you already have one, one of the finishing touch must-have is upgrading to a stainless steel brake lines. Once upgraded to the stainless steel brake lines such as the ones offered by Goodridge, you'll feel better pressure when squeezing on the brake lever compared to those squishy rubbery lines that probably came stock with your bike or kit. The rubber lines are soft, squishy, with a lot of flex, because of this, the lines are also very bulky and thick. The stainless steel lines provide durability with more compact and stylish design.
The lines and fittings we offer utilizes AN type fittings which originated with a military standard and specification convention. The AN fittings on the components help to provide standardization of parts, while also using a special angled fitting to provide a secure seal for the fluids being passed through them.
Along with the brake line, choose the angle and finish that suits your bike best, depending on master cylinder location and brake caliper design and angle, you may want a different angle to properly run lines that won't cause undue strain on the lines.
Quick Tip: grab some string and a couple pieces of tape to measure your current length from end-to-end.
