How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Contact Customer Service: Reach out to our Customer Service team via email or phone to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Provide your invoice number, date of purchase, and a brief description of the issue (e.g., defect, wrong item, or reason for exchange). This helps us assist you quickly.
  2. Receive Your RMA: If your request meets our policy guidelines, we'll issue an RMA number within 1 business day. This number must be clearly marked on the outside of your return package.
  3. Return Window: You must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order to initiate the process. Once issued, your RMA number is valid for 7 days—items must be received by DROWsports within this timeframe. Expired or missing RMA numbers will result in the package being refused.
  4. Shipping Responsibilities:
    • All returns must be shipped prepaid (we do not accept freight collect, COD, or uninsured packages).
    • We recommend using a trackable carrier like FedEx or UPS and insuring the package for its full value to protect against loss or damage in transit.
    • Original shipping charges are non-refundable. For returns or exchanges not due to our error (e.g., damaged or mis-shipped items), you are responsible for return shipping costs.
    • If the return is due to our error, we'll provide a prepaid shipping label or reimburse your return shipping upon approval.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Condition of Items: Returned or exchanged items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition. We cannot accept items that show signs of installation, modification, use, damage, or painting.
  • Prohibited Items: No returns or exchanges on special-order items, electrical components, or any merchandise that has been customized.
  • Inspection Process: Upon receipt, items will be inspected for compliance. If approved, refunds or credits will be processed within 24 hours of inspection. Please allow 3-5 business days for the credit to appear on your account or payment method.
  • Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee applies to all returns not caused by our error (e.g., buyer's remorse or change of mind). This fee is waived for damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped items.
  • Exchanges: If you'd prefer an exchange instead of a refund, let us know during your RMA request. Exchanges are subject to the same eligibility rules and timelines as returns. We'll ship the replacement item once your original return is received and inspected (shipping fees may apply unless due to our error).

Additional Conditions for Mis-Shipped Items

Refunds and Credits
