The Chimera V2 CBR Engine Swap Mount Kit is the most advanced, lightest, and easiest way to drop a reliable Honda NC51 (CBR300/CB300/Rebel 300) or MC41 (CBR250/CRF250) engine into your Honda Grom.
Whether you ride a 2014-2020 Grom or the all-new 2022-2025 generation, the V2 kit gives you bolt-on installation with zero frame welding on either model. Enjoy smooth, water-cooled power, a real 6-speed transmission, and dramatically improved acceleration and top speed while keeping the lightweight Grom chassis you love.
The all-new V2 design is 25% lighter than the original (just 1.8 lbs) and uses a dual-stacked plate system that eliminates the harmonic vibration issues that cause frame cracks in single-piece designs from other brands. We also added extra clearance between the lower frame and engine for a cleaner fit on both Grom generations.
Reversible on 2014-2020 models — swap back to your stock 125cc engine anytime. 2022-2025 models install just as cleanly with the updated V2 brackets engineered specifically for the revised frame.

- Wiring harness from CBR300 donor bike or Wicked Harness recommended.
- Sprockets, chain, coolant overflow tank, EGR block-off plate, etc.
Important Notes & Warnings:
- Chain guide uses bearings — expect normal whirring noise under engine braking.
- The massive power increase will make the bike wheelie easily — off-road use only!
- 2017+ stock LED headlight may require a Tripage adapter.
