Friday – Las Vegas Strip Ride
2:00 PM, our team started the 6-hour drive from Los Angeles to Las Vegas for the Minimoto Takeover Ride. We showed up with barely any time to spare. No time for food, no time to unpack, only time to ride!
Racing over to the meetup spot for the Las Vegas Strip ride! Our team showed up right on time before the Minimoto Takeover Strip ride started.
Admiring the Las Vegas lights through a cool night cruise through the strip to the drag races. There were many types of people on the ride from racers to stunters. As a result, making this ride was not for the faint of heart.
Cruising down the strip with around 200 minimotos before hitting the drag strip. The Las Vegas Strip Ride ended up being very fun but it started getting a little wild.

Rolling out from a gas stop near Sonic’s after we grabbed some quick food.
Our team decided to split off to recover the group we came with before heading out to the drag location.
Las Vegas Police ended up pulling over a few of us; we took one for the minimoto community. This was due to radio chatter about a large group of reckless minimotos on the Las Vegas Strip. The Las Vegas Police Department was extremely professional and nice about the situation, and we got off lucky this time! Some of the other riders sent us directions for the “1/8” drag strip. Once we hit the drag strip, we parked our bikes and started checking out the fresh builds.
What we thought was a 1/8 mile ended up being much shorter, but still extremely fun!
