If you've built up at all your GY6 150cc engine, it's sure to be running much warmer than originally. Use the DROWsports Carbon Fiber CVT Ram Air Scoop is a lightweight but strong option to cool your transmission. This high-quality carbon fiber piece is individually made and was designed just for the GY6 long case, this will fit most GY6 engines as there are some variations, and minor modification may be required. This unit is intended to bolt right onto your factory CVT cover, but we highly recommend milling additional areas in the rear to improve ventilation. And specifically, with this scoop, it will cover a large area, so with the right tools, you can really open it up for ventilation and use the scoop to cover it up cosmetically. To help with debris concerns, it also includes a grill to keep out the larger items that could fly into your transmission.
