RacingBros Shicane Twin Mono R Rear Low Down Shock 2019+ Honda Monkey (285mm)

These shocks are 2" lower then standard Twin Mono R Honda Monkey Shocks. . The shock is a full black to keep it low key and sleek. This modernly designed shock features a new look but still matches the retro styling of the Honda Monkey. The Honda Monkey comes from the factory with a very soft and slightly awkward suspension feel. This makes it very uncomfortable to utilize the bike going into corners and coming out of them. RacingBro's has developed this effective replacement shock for the Honda Monkey to help alleviate much of the awkward cornering feel and provide the rider with a much more enjoyable ride. This is an important upgrade for any Honda Monkey!
Each component on the shock is made from a specific material to maintain ride quality and performance. The spring is a super high strength Cr-Si steel for increased strength and longevity. The damper body is made from a 6061-T6 cold-forged aluminum alloy to help with weight and sitting inside is a 36mm 7075-T6 CNC Piston. The shock is completely ride height adjustable and allows you to preload the spring depending on your comfort. The adjustment knob at the bottom of the shock controls the low-speed rebound adjustment (24 clicks). It also comes available in spring rates of 15.8N/mm and 19.3N/mm depending on rider weight. Key components in dialing in your rear suspension for tracking, canyon, or just everyday comfortable commuting.
