KillerScooter Super Sunday

Location5505 Rosemead Blvd, Temple City CA, 91780
Time – May 19th, 2019 | Meetup 8:19 AM | KSU@ 9:19 AM

The main event ride that everyone is waiting for! This is a great way to meet and check out all the bikes. We leave from our location at DROWsports every year with other riders going to The Hat. This is a mystery ride, the route and location are concealed. We recommend bringing water, snacks, extra race gas (if you need it), 2 stroke premix, batteries, and chargers.

Places to Stay

Airbnb is one of the most popular ways to book a location to stay in. Long Beach has great food, scenic riding, and nightlife options. We’re smack dab in the middle of all of it. Super Sunday is an all weekend event so we recommend staying in an area that offers great options. Most of these locations recommended are listed down below.

Riding & Eating

(LOCAL ORDINANCE: No Loud Exhausts & No Speeding)

Long Beach

Belmont Shore – DROWsports has a monthly ride through 2nd Street. This is in Belmont Shore to Alamitos Bay Marina where Ballast Point Brewery is located. 2nd Street a great place to ride around and grab some food. It has an entire street dedicated to bars and restaurants.

Belmont Pier – The pier is more of a kickback location and a great place to cruise to along Ocean Blvd. They have our local Belmont Brewery where you can grab some grub along the beach. Great for anyone who wants to relax and ride along the beach.

Downtown Long Beach – If you want to show off your bike and check out the nightlife. Downtown Long Beach is a great place to hang out. They offer many local restaurants, bars, and clubs. We don’t recommend leaving your bike unattended for a long time though!

Shoreline Village – Near Down Town Long Beach, Shoreline is more dedicated to food and hanging out. They have a variety of restaurants and bars walking distance. This is directly south of Downtown Long Beach.

Ranchos Palos Verde

Palos Verdes is a beautiful small community on top of a small mountain with a cliffside ocean view. The area has a nice calm and relaxing ride to it. But be warned they do have a local ordinance for loud exhausts and speeding. Keep in mind through these beach cities we recommend cruising at low RPM and do not exceed speed limits.

Redondo Beach

Most riders specifically enjoy the Redondo Beach Pier. This is located on the South West side of Redondo Beach. They offer a large array of food and drinking spots. Not to mention a nice beachy scene to ride through. This is another scenic coastal ride that continues north to Santa Monica. Keep in mind through these beach cities we recommend cruising at low RPM and do not exceed speed limits.

Huntington Beach

Huntington Beach offers one of the most popular hangout spots. You get all kinds of bikers. The area offers huge amounts of food and drinking locations. It is directly on the coast and will definitely turn heads! This is one of the longer stretches of cruising. Keep in mind through these beach cities we recommend cruising at low RPM and do not exceed speed limits.

Los Cerritos Center

Moving away from the fantastic Beach Cities, Cerritos is located slightly more inland. If you are a foodie and just want to eat. Riding over to Cerritos will offer an abundant amount of Asian Cuisine options. This has some of the most popular Asian food spots outside of Korea Town in busy Los Angeles. They also have a large shopping center in case you forget something important.
