In this final series on the OEM floor board removal solutions, we will discuss the final step in appearance to complete your DROWSports Carbon Fiber Experience. That final piece to really set off your Honda Ruckus is the DROWSports Carbon Fiber Rear Neck Covers.
While many of our Carbon Fiber replacement parts are functional and stylish, the Carbon Rear Neck Covers offer some unique functionality in each of the two. The first to discuss is the Carbon Fiber Rear Neck Cup Holder. Before this, the only solutions to hold on to your drink were to use your feet, use your lap, keep it under the seat with our Carbon Fiber Storage Bin, or use one hand to hold on to it and the other to control the bike. Needless to say, many of those solutions are very, very dangerous. Keeping your drink under the seat can be very inconvenient, too. We also didn’t want to encourage riders to not keep hydrated on longer runs. The solution was to come up with a way to keep your drink secure and within easy reach, but match our already extensive line of Carbon Products. That solution was the Carbon Fiber Rear Neck Cup Holder.
The Carbon Rear Neck Cup Holder can fit an assortment of bottles and cups within the average 20oz bottle diameter, which is roughly 2.5 inches in diameter (barring any size discrepancies in bottle/cup manufacturing).
Like was stated earlier, it will fit most medium cups. Tall cups or cups that get fatter towards the top will not fit properly, as seen here.
The other Carbon Rear Neck option is the Carbon Rear Neck Gauge Pod. This piece will allow you to mount either a 60mm or 52mm gauge for whatever you may need! Want to tune your 4-stroke carburetor better? Get the Gauge Pod, Wideband Oxygen Sensor and properly sized gauge and tune for perfection! Need to know how hot your exhaust is getting? Get a Pyrometer, Gauge, and Gauge Pod. Want to know the time, there is a gauge for that, too and it will fit! So long as it fits within the 60mm or 52mm gauge pods, you can use it.
If you happen to buy all Carbon Fiber Floor Board solutions, there are some modifications that must be done. The Carbon Front Neck Guards will have to be trimmed to fit the Carbon Rear Neck Covers. Carbon can be filed down and you won’t ruin the looks of either piece by doing so. For the Carbon Gas Tank Cover, you will either not use the bolt on the Carbon Rear Neck Cover or you can trim or drill a hole for it in the Carbon Gas Tank Cover.
