GY6 150 Reduction Gear Countershaft

The middle man in your GY6 final drive. This reduction gear countershaft is the compound gear that steps power down from the CVT clutch output to the final drive — 42-tooth large gear on the input side, 13-tooth small gear driving the final gear, all on a 15mm shaft. It's what turns high-RPM CVT spin into the torque that actually moves your scooter or kart.

When the teeth on this gear wear, chip, or start whining, you'll hear it in the gearcase and feel it in lost drive. If you're already into the transmission for a bearing job or a rebuild, this is a smart replace-while-you're-in-there part.
