A variable-speed drive adjuster spring from Malossi. Made from silicon-steel with high carbon content, it has been heat-treated, dynamically balanced, and kiln painted. Tuning the Contra Spring or sometimes referred to as a Torque Spring is very important in a modified two-stroke engine. The Torque Spring controls how the variator belt changes gear ratios.
