This NCY 260mm no ordinary disc brake rotor, this is a floated disc brake rotor with an aluminum center for lighter weight with a steel outer disc brake portion. The lighter weight and being unsprung will allow you to accelerate on the throttle faster and decelerate faster on the brakes. For some, the two-piece design and an aluminum portion may be a turnoff. However, the two-pieces allow the steel disc portion to expand and retract more uniformly. In addition, it allows for higher tolerances towards heat and abuse.
