Permatex Threadlockers are essential pick-me ups for those looking to securely fasten parts and accessories to their bikes. The last thing any rider should be worried about is their most expensive parts falling off due to a loose screw or bolt. Applying a threadlocker is a great way to prevent just that! These threadlockers come in two different strengths.
Threadlocker Blue (Medium Strength):
Color: Blue
Fastener Size: ¼” to ¾” (6 to 20mm)
Torque Break/Prevail: 115/50
Shear Strength: NA
Maximum Temperature: +300°F (+149° C)
Common Applications: Machine tools and presses, pumps and compressors, mounting bolts, and gear boxes.
When to apply: BEFORE assembly

Threadlocker Red (High Strength)

Fastener Size: ⅜” to 1” (10 to 25mm)
Torque Break/Prevail: 250/250
Shear Strength: NA
Maximum Temperature: +300°F (+149°C)
Common Applications: Cylinder block and rocker arm studs, shock absorber mounts and ring gear bolts.
