The Shin Yea Maximum High Torque Starter Motor is a powerful upgrade designed to handle GY6 engines ranging from 150cc all the way up to 232cc. Built with larger and heavier-duty internal components, this starter motor delivers significantly higher torque—making it ideal for turning over high-compression or big bore engines. Whether you're running a standard 150cc with increased compression or a full 232cc stroker build, this starter motor provides the reliable cranking power you need.

To ensure optimal performance and longevity, this starter motor requires a battery rated at 9 amps or higher and must be used with 8–12 gauge starter and solenoid wires. Using an undersized battery or incorrect wiring may result in damage to the starter.

Note: Please be aware that this is a much larger starter motor, the carbon fiber starter covers will not fit over it.
