RZR 170 Crankcase Gasket (Center crank) #6

Splitting the cases on your RZR 170? This is the gasket that seals them back together. The center crankcase gasket (diagram reference #6, Polaris OEM #0455359) sits at the main case-half split — the seam that runs right through the middle of the engine around the crank. It's the seal keeping oil where it belongs and holding case pressure so your bottom end runs the way it should.

This is a one-time-use part, full stop. If you've had the cases apart for a crank, bearing, or transmission job, the old gasket is done — it's taken a set and it will not reseal. Reusing it (or trying to "just add sealant") is how you end up with a weeping case seam and a second teardown. Fresh gasket, clean mating surfaces, proper torque sequence, and you're sealed for the long haul.

Whether you're doing a full rebuild or chasing a leak at the case split, this is a must-have on the parts list before you button the engine back up.
