RZR 170 Exhaust Gasket #17

his is the exhaust gasket for your RZR 170 (diagram reference #17, Polaris OEM #0455340) — the seal at the joint where the exhaust bolts to the cylinder head port. Small part, but it's the one keeping your exhaust sealed tight so all the spent gases go out the pipe instead of leaking at the flange.

You'll know when it's gone: a blown exhaust gasket ticks or hisses at the head, leaks black soot around the joint, and can cost you a little bottom-end power and throttle response. On these youth motors the exhaust gets pulled for top-end work more than you'd think, and this gasket is one-time-use — pull the pipe and the old one gets crushed and won't reseal. Every time the exhaust comes off, a fresh gasket goes back on.

Cheap insurance, and one of those parts worth having a spare of on the shelf before you actually need it.
