Projects, Demos, and Super Sunday!

Want to know what we’re doing around the shop? Sometimes the best thing to do is check out our DROWSports Facebook page, but sometimes we don’t get a chance to really update that! Every so often, we get a demo bike going that we haven’t had a chance to get something going on for web use. So, in order to catch everyone up before Super Sunday, here is a quick rundown on what demo bikes we have going! Be sure to buy Ruckus Parts and Zuma Parts from us!

Jon’s Zuma 163

It started as a simple up bore, but soon after he felt just the increase in power the up bore did, we went full bore! Now we have a stroker kit, Two-Brothers Juicebox Pro, and a new Innovate Motorsports Oxygen Sensor bung so we can hook up an AEM Wide Band Oxygen Sensor to start tuning for the new displacement. This will ensure that the best, most powerful tune without being too rich or too lean. You can keep tabs on it on Zuma Forums as well!

Drew’s Ruckus 100cc

It went back to paint and got its engine and CVT polished to blind those who look at it! Really is starting to look good with the 8-Hole Wheel in the rear. There should be a matching one on the front before Super Sunday.

Justin H. Ruckus GY6 Swap

While it probably won’t be done in time for Super Sunday, his bike is starting to really take shape. Expect more updates here and on Total Ruckus.

Calvin’s Ruckus-Zuma 50cc

While on the Desert Ride, the OEM Yamaha water pump blew up. It was caught just in time to keep the engine from seizing up, but the plan is to use an electric water pump to prevent this from happening again. He also got his engine case powder-coated black. The engine was just put back in the bike on 4/12, so if the water pump comes in on time, there might be a chance it rides out on Super Sunday!

Yeah, I don’t have a Project, yet. It’s coming though and the idea is to mix vintage Flat Track style with some Bimota HB-1 flair to it, too. I’m still fleshing out the idea, but expect it to really be different than the normal Scooter with a GY6 150cc. I think it should turn out really well, maybe I can find a way to take it to a flat track after it’s done to see how well it really does! Stay Tuned!
